First Post
What will 2026 bring us? Not sure, but here are a few life updates.
First, I want to share an amazing recipe Ilu made for me while I was at the peak of a miserable cold. She prepared Mille Feuille Nabe, and it was delicious, even though I accidentally bought the wrong cut of meat. She made a slight adjustment to the dipping sauce by adding sesame oil and chili oil, which I highly recommend! I may actually end up using this blog to post recipes we make. As many of you might recall, during the time we lived separately, our date nights typically involved FaceTime calls and trying out new recipes that we each cooked. She would be in her kitchen in the Philippines, while I was in my kitchen in Dorchester. This really helped strengthen our relationship and kept us connected despite the significant distance.
Here is MasterChef Ilu with her chicken.
PhDwise, I am finally one step closer to the data analysis phase. It’s definitely baby-steps right now. If you have any helpful suggestions for getting started, please send them my way.
That is it for now. It is exciting to have a space to share my thoughts, not through a policy memo or academic writing.
